Career Astrology: Landed up in a wrong job role

In today's world everyone works to earn a decent living and for that it is extremely important that the job should be cut out for you. If you work in a role which is not the right fitment for you then you are bound to experience job burn out and your longevity in that job role would be short-lived because you would either look out for a change or you would request your supervisors to change your job role within your company.

In today's case study we would look into the horoscope of a person who is a veteran in his job role and is quite close to his retirement age. Despite having such a rich experience of 30+ years he was moved from his existing department all of a sudden by the end of the year 2024 and this caused a lot of anxiousness and uncertainty in his career.

This person was born during the Shukla Paksha Dashami tithi in Swati nakshatra. He emigrated overseas from India during the Guru mahadasha (November, 1982 till November, 1998) and during the end of the Rahu Antardasha (June, 1996 till November, 1998). The reason being that Guru and Rahu being in mutual 7th axis in 12th and 6th house respectively in the Lagna Kundali and Rahu is aspecting the 12th house. Moreover, looking at the Dashamsha Kundali, Rahu aspects Guru, the Arudha of the 10th house (in Dashamsha kundali), the Hora lagna and the Arudha lagna & simultaneously the Ghatika Lagna in Dashamsha Kundali. Hence, Rahu is a Maha Yogada in the Dashamsha Kundali which caused his emigration for better career opportunities.

Coming to the current times, he is undergoing the antardasha of Chandra (December, 2024 till May, 2026) within the mahadasha of Budh (November, 2017 till November, 2034). Looking at the lagna kundali, Chandra & Budh are in mutual 6/8 position which causes friction in career. Moreover, looking at the Dashamsha Kundali, Chandra being in the 8th house (the house of unpleasant surprises) conjoined with the arudha of the 10th house further accelerates the uncertainties in the job. It was during the start of the Chandra Antardasha (December, 2024) that he was suddenly moved to a new department which was not his comfort zone and it thus caused a lot of uncertainties. Career Astrology: Issues with office subordinates

Career is one of the major facets in one's life since it is directly related to one's finances, well-being & social status. Having said, inside any organization there are primary three types of people with whom one has to work with. First, it is one's peers, second is one's boss/bosses and third is one's subordinates.

In this article we would look into a case study wherein this person had issues related to his subordinates and hence because of his ineffective & unruly subordinates, he faced a major setback on his performance.

The following horoscope is that of an engineer who graduated out from a premier engineering college (of national repute) and he worked in a managerial for a major steel firm in India. While writing this article he was in his late thirties and faced major issue related to his subordinates wherein his subordinates were not being able to handle the tasks effectively which were being delegated to them.          Ketu Antardasha-- December, 2024 till February, 2026

* Surya Mahadasha -- February, 2026 for the next 6 Years.

He had worked overseas from end of 2016 till the end of 2018. This was during the Shukra Mahadasha & Guru Antardasha. Guru Antardasha gave him overseas opportunities since Guru is a baadhak graha & Guru being in the 10th house (house of career) in his mool-trikon rashi would assist in overseas travel for career opportunities. Also, looking at the Dashamsha Kundali (the chart for career), the effects of Guru very clearly indicate foreign travel for career opportunities.

The current mahadasha of Shukra with Ketu antardasha was not favourable since Ketu (being malefic) being exalted in the 5th house of the Dashamsha Kundali caused issues related to his subordinates. Issues started exactly with the onset of the Ketu Antardasha. Appropriate remedies were given to the client related to the pacification of the Ketu graha and issues have been mitigated to much extent.
